Carol Love

Executive Director

Carol Love returned to Family Promise of Gwinnett as the Executive Director in August of 2019. For the previous five years, she was an Associate at Wilbanks Partners, where she focused on marketing, events, and client relationship management. Carol was the founding Director of Family Promise of Gwinnett’s SaltLight Center and is excited to be back and working with the churches, donors, and volunteers.

Carol’s business career began with Ernst & Young as an Analyst in the Fraud & Investigative Disputes Services Group, and she subsequently became a Marketing Associate in the firm’s Financial Services Advisory Group. Carol earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Carol’s pride and joy are her husband, Ben, and her son, Tristan. She is grateful that the Lord has led her back to Family Promise and is enjoying the adventure.

Monique Aimable

Community Engagement Coordinator

Monique Aimable is a 2021 graduate of Discovery High School in Lawrenceville. Initially, she worked at Family Promise of Gwinnett as a 2021 summer intern via Summer of Impact, a program at Discovery. Immediately after her internship, she was hired as an employee. She is studying finance and accounting at Georgia Gwinnett College, balancing her schoolwork with a job she “has come to love.”

Involved in her local church’s food pantry, Monique engages in several volunteer opportunities in Gwinnett. Additionally, she enjoys reading, tutoring, and spending time with her family and friends. She is very glad that God guided her steps to where she is now, and she’s very excited to continue her journey, serving the needs of our guests.

Tiffany Edison

Office Manager

Tiffany Edison is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the social services sector. She has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and families. A proud native of Hartford, Connecticut, Tiffany has a deep commitment to her community, both through her professional work and her involvement in church and local initiatives.

Outside of her career, Tiffany is a loving wife, mother of two, and grandmother of one. She balances her personal and professional life with grace, constantly striving to make a positive impact both in her family and the community at large. Tiffany’s passion for service, coupled with her wealth of experience, continues to drive her efforts to create meaningful change in the lives of those she serves.

Christina Morris

Success Coach

Christina Morris, Case Manager/Success Coach, was first introduced to Family Promise in 2018 while researching volunteer opportunities in Gwinnett County with her oldest daughter. Inspired by her experience serving dinner at the women’s shelter, she knew this was a space where she could make a lasting impact. Now, with over 19 years of experience in case management and job coaching, Christina is dedicated to empowering families through life-skills training, advocacy, community outreach, and daily support.

A proud graduate of Alverno College with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and a Minor in Communications. Christina has been an active member of The Path Church since moving to Georgia from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2009. She has served as a Ministry Mentor and Advocate for Singles and Couples, a Children’s Ministry Board Member, and a Sunday School Teacher. Her greatest motivators are her faith in God, her commitment to service, and her love for her family—her husband Jason and their two daughters, Soleil and Summer. Christina is honored to contribute to Family Promise’s mission of ending family homelessness through compassionate advocacy and innovative solutions.

Debbie Shelton

House Manager

Deborah (Debbi) Shelton, a native of Pensacola, Florida has been in the Criminal Justice Field for over 25 years. She currently works as a Probation Officer for the Superior Court in the City of Lawrenceville. Deborah has an Associate Degree in Christian Education and Christian Counseling, a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Hermeneutics, both from Selma University, and a Master’s Degree in Apologetics from Luther Rice Theological Seminary and Bible College. She is an Honorary 2 time Summa cum laude recipient. She is the founder of the Zion’s Daughter Women’s Network Podcast, a national and international group of 1,400 women. Deborah is an ordained Elder and that teaches and preachers throughout the United States Her passion and love for Jesus Christ gives her a servant heart to extend her arms out to those in need. Deborah truly believes her coming to Family Promise is by divine design. Deborah states “Family Promise gives me the opportunity to fulfill the mission of Jesus Christ in servitude.”

LaDina Williams

House Assistant

LaDina Williams, Promise Haven House Assistant, has lived in Georgia for nearly 25 years. She is a native of Alabama, where she received her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in community health from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Al. She’s worked in healthcare for almost 30 years and works full-time with Piedmont Healthcare. Her teenage daughter keeps her busy with cheerleading and other extracurricular activities. She has a heart for serving others and loves helping people in need. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and her Jack Russell Terrier dog, Coco Roxy. She loves listening to music and attending live music events/concerts.

Shian Johnson

House Assistant

Shian Johnson, Promise Haven House Assistant, has a foster care and child advocacy background. She is passionate about supporting children and families as they navigate difficult times. Her work is driven by a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others, ensuring that every child feels valued and heard.

Shian enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and living a healthy lifestyle. She is a devoted dog lover and finds strength and inspiration in her faith. One of her biggest goals is to travel the world, explore new cultures, and gain fresh perspectives that will continue to shape her journey.
