Family Promise of Gwinnett is gearing up for its marquee Bed Race event on April 26, 2025. The Historic Square in downtown Lawrenceville will host teams from local businesses, organizations, churches, and schools. Teams will compete in timed heats while racing their decorated beds around the racecourse.
“Our Bed Race continues our mission of supporting homeless families in Gwinnett County,” said Carol Love, Executive Director of Family Promise of Gwinnett. This event raises funds for our programs and awareness about the rising issue of family homelessness in our community,”
This year’s teams already committed to the race include PDI Plumbing, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Discover Life Church, Discovery High School, Ametek, Viasat, McKendree United Methodist Church, Grayson United Methodist Church, City of Lawrenceville, The Nett Church, Impact and Legacy.
