Individuals and groups are welcome to volunteer at Promise Haven. You can choose how often you would like to serve families. The four primary volunteer opportunities are:

EVENING HOST–  Welcome guests, socialize with the families, welcome volunteers, and assist parents with children’s needs.

Time: 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Day: Every day

A background check and training are required.

DINNER HOST – Prepare a hot meal for families at Promise Haven.

Time: Arrive between 6 and 6:30 p.m.

Day: Every day.

DAY HOST –  Stay at Promise Haven on Saturdays while families remain there and do chores or run errands and return home.

Time: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 day

Day: Saturday only.

Background check and training are required.

OVERNIGHT HOST – Spend the night (sleep) at Promise Haven and spend time with guest families.

Time: 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Day: Friday nights, Saturday nights, holidays, and community weeks.
