Eleven teams competed in the 2017 Bed Race to benefit Family Promise of Gwinnett County. The adult team from ViaSat, a broadband services and technology company in Duluth, had the best time for the second year in a row. But the real winners of this event are the families in Gwinnett County who will benefit from the services provided. Other results included:

Adult teams:

Clergy teams:

  1. Westminster Clergy
  2. St. Edwards Episcopal Church

Youth teams:

  1. McKendree’s Monsters from McKendree United Methodist Church
  2. Central Gwinnett High School

Pigs in a Blanket, the team from First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville, raised the most money before the event and also want the People’s Choice award from ticket sales during the Bed Race.
